One Accreditation Pending. Four Programs. One Coherent Curriculum.
SIT was founded to answer a simple question: what would a university look like if it took African students seriously as future scientists, founders, and global leaders and was built from scratch around that promise?
Every SIT student moves through a modular, interdisciplinary curriculum that blends lab work, field research, and startup projects taught by a hybrid faculty of academics, industry practitioners, and visiting global scientists.
Programs
A shared core. A specialised path. A real portfolio.
Every SIT student regardless of department takes a shared core in scientific foundations, communication, and computation. It is what makes our graduates fluent across the bio-economy.
Specialisation deepens through years 2 and 3, taught in seminar-sized classes and aligned with active research. By Year 4, students complete a capstone of their choosing a thesis, a startup, or an advanced rotation with one of our partner institutions.
