Plant Research Grant – Deadline Sept 30, 2021
The Sena Institute of Technology (SIT) in Penyi, Volta Region is seeking a consulting Botanist/Crop scientist for their digital herbarium database project.
A successful applicant must demonstrate deep knowledge of local plants and taxonomic plant classification with a strong research output.
Grant amount GHC10,000.00 for 1 year. Applicants would be contacted by email for further discussion.
Eligibility:
1. Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Botany, Crop Science or Agriculture.
2. Working in an accredited academic institution preferably in Ghana.
3. Has a successful track record of publications or working with plants characterization.
Application Details:
a. Personal information. You would be required to submit a 500 word Biosketch.
b. Research output. You would be required to submit a 500 word abstract of your research or teaching efforts.
